The Charter Township of Commerce Board of Trustees is accepting applications for the
Treasurer’s position, and is interested in appointing someone with your business
background.
The Township Treasurer is an elected, full time position and must be a Commerce
Township resident with statutory requirements.
Required duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Collection and disbursement of property taxes
Deposits township revenues
Invests township funds
The compensation package includes:
$122,000.00 year salary
Pension contribution of 13% of salary
Insurance benefit package
