Commerce Township residents only can participate in the 2026 Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day on September 26, 2026, from 9 AM to 1 PM at Commerce Township Hall, 2009 Township Drive. Acceptable waste includes oil-based paint, solvents, automotive fluids, aerosols, corrosives, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, propane cylinders, batteries, fire extinguishers, fluorescent lamps, and other household hazardous materials. Latex paint, electronics, explosives, weapons, radioactive waste, controlled narcotics, trash, yard waste, tires, appliances, and other listed materials will not be accepted.
