Election Worker Opportunity
Commerce Township is seeking approximately 10 election workers for November 3, with paid training and Election Day work and some work on October 26 and 31. Individuals age 16 and older are welcome to apply, with a focus on those comfortable with technology and interested in learning election processes.
Election workers will receive:
- $20 for required training
- $200 for working Election Day, November 3
- Additional opportunities October 26 through October 31 at $15 per hour
Individuals must be at least 16 years old. We are especially looking for people who are comfortable with technology and interested in learning the high-speed tabulator software.
This is an opportunity to gain experience with civic engagement, election technology and clerical processes.
