Join us for our inaugural graphic novel book club! Each month we'll dive into a classic story told via comic books, discovering what actually makes them classics. Our first meeting will take place Thursday May 21st at 7:00. Currently the group is slated to meet bi-monthly (May, July, September, November) with no set date each month.
This time around we'll be reading V for Vendetta, Alan Moore & David Lloyd's grim tale of an avenging anarchist bent on toppling a fascist regime. The Guy Fawkes mask has been burned into pop culture history, but what does the man behind the mask actually stand for? What made him who he is and what does he want? Come with us as we take a deep dive into the world, characters, & themes of these classic stories.
All sign-ups will receive a copy of the book to be picked up at the Information Desk.
