Honorary or Memorial Book Donations
Purchasing gift and memorial books is a wonderful way to remember loved ones or to mark special occasions such as birthdays, graduations and anniversaries.
With your contribution, the Library will purchase an item in the category you choose (adult fiction, poetry, picture book, etc.). You can even suggest a subject or materials that best represent the occasion or the interests of the honoree.
Acknowledgment of your gift is sent to the individual or to the family of the person being honored. Gifts will be acknowledged with a bookplate in the item before it goes on the shelf for checkout.
To make a donation, send a check made payable to the Commerce Township Community Library, along with a completed donation form to:

Imagination Library
If you’re interested in supporting Commerce Township Community Library’s Imagination Library, which mails free books to the children in our community, you can make a donation at the Imagination Library website.
Donation of Materials
The Friends of the Commerce Township Community Library volunteer group gratefully accepts donations of books, music and DVD movies that are recent and in good condition. When donation periods are open, books and media can be placed in the Friends of the Library donation slot in the lobby of the library.
