Storytime Guidelines:
Space is limited - storytime tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10:00 am the morning of the program.
The more you participate, the more children will enjoy and learn from storytime.
Please enjoy your snacks, adult conversation, and cell phones after storytime.

Connect with fellow knitting-lovers at the Library!

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced knitter, our casual knitting groups are for you. Bring your latest project! 

Yarn Around Knitting Group: every Thursday, 10 am - 12 pm - in the Dodge Room.
Knitting in the Stacks: first Tuesday of every month, 6 - 7:30 pm - meet at the fireplace. 

Both knitting groups are drop-in programs; registration is not required.

Commerce Township Community Library has its own chess club, and we meet every month! Are you a beginner to the game? Come learn the basics! Are you an advanced player? Come to refine your skills while imparting wisdom to newer players.  

All skill levels and age groups are welcome to socialize, play a little chess, and otherwise encourage the growth of the game. Feel free to bring chess sets and clocks from home.

Chess Club meets the first Wednesday of every month, 5:30-7:30 pm.
