Commerce Township Community Library carries a number of daily newspapers and popular magazines in digital and print format.

For patrons who prefer reading newspapers and magazines in person, please stop by to browse and enjoy our selection.

All magazine issues (except the latest) can be checked out and reserved; newspapers are reserved for in-library use.

The seed library is an ever-changing selection of seeds. Experience the joys of gardening, save money, discover new plants and encourage sharing. While supplies last. 

Seeds include: 

• annuals
• heirloom varieties
• herbs
• perennials
• vegetables 

Please visit the seed library display in the adult department to browse and select seeds. 

Ready to cultivate connections with fellow plant lovers? Our Plant Propagation Station is your go-to destination for a leafy exchange! Bring up to 2 plant cuttings, already rooted in water (soil-free, please).
Label your green pals, drop them into our provided bottles, and let the swapping begin!

Explore the station, discover diverse cuttings, and pick a new leafy companion to take home. Wrap your new plant friend in a damp paper towel, secure it in a provided baggie, and voila – you're ready for a green journey!

Operating on trust, our Plant Propagation Station is all about the honor system. Whether you're bringing cuttings to trade or generously donating, your contribution keeps our plant community flourishing.
