Fire Department Employment Opportunities

Individuals wishing to apply for a position with the Commerce Township Fire Department are encouraged to download the employment application and the Michigan Driving Record Request form .PDF below and return it to the Department Headquarters at
2401 Glengary Road
Commerce Township, MI 48382-2152.

The Commerce Township Fire Department is now hiring Paid-On-Call Firefighters. Applicants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be Commerce Residents and/or within 1 mile radius of Commerce
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Have a valid driver's licence and good driving record
  • Be physically able to perform the activities of a firefighter

Those interested should submit a Fire Department Employment Application and Driving Record Form (form below) no later than May 31, 2011.


BOTH THE APPLICATION AND THE RETURNED MICHIGAN DRIVING RECORD MUST BE RETURNED TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
