Election Schedule
The conduct of all federal, state, county, city, township, village and school elections will be restricted to four dates each year: the fourth Tuesday in February, and the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May, August and November.

The next scheduled election will be held on February 28, 2012.

Absentee Ballots
Absentee Ballots are available to those who qualify by first submitting an “Application for Absent Voters Ballot” with full name, address, and the reason you are requesting an absentee ballot:• 60 years of age or older• you expect to be absent from the community in which you are registered for the entire time the polls are open• you are physically unable to attend the polls without the assistance of another• you cannot attend the polls because of the tenets of your religion• you cannot attend the polls because you are confined to jail awaiting arraignment or trailPlease sign and date your Absentee Application to validate. Precinct Inspectors
Precinct Inspectors are people who are paid to assist voters at the polls on Election Day. You must be a registered voter of the county in which the election takes place. If you are interested in serving as election inspectors submit an election inspector application to your local Clerk’s Office.Under certain circumstances 16 and 17 year old students may also participate in the election process.
