There are several organizations in Oakland County that can assist Grandparents of all ages who are raising their Grandchildren. These organizations provide support groups and other assistance for grandparents and other relatives raising minor grandchildren.

Its purpose is to educate and support grandparents and grandchildren and to advocate their desire to continue a relationship that may be threatened with loss of contact, usually following the death or divorce of the grandchild(s) parents. Members receive a newsletter and updates on legal issues related to grandparent’s visitations rights.
